HOW I WORK

I understand the demands of the construction industry and how busy you are. That’s why my process is streamlined to deliver the best results efficiently, keeping you informed and involved at key points without requiring an excessive time commitment. Clear communication and transparency ensure you have confidence in the project's process while freeing you to focus on what you do best.

VALUES

My values inform all my interactions and guide me through each project with you.

Communication – I keep you informed without burying you in emails. Clear updates, realistic timelines, and no surprises. I also explain the "why" behind my recommendations so you understand the strategic choices we're making together.

Honesty – I don't make outlandish promises or guarantee outcomes I can't control. If something's not in my wheelhouse, I'll tell you. If your timeline's unrealistic, I'll say so. If I think your approach won't work, I'll explain why and suggest alternatives.

Empathy – I understand deadline pressures, stakeholder demands, and the frustration of competitors who market better despite inferior work. I also know that life happens. When unexpected challenges arise, I work with you to keep projects on track.

Reliability – I understand you're making an investment in your business with budgets and timelines to consider. When I commit to a deadline, I meet it. When I say I'll handle something, you can cross it off your list.

PROCESS

You may or may not have worked with a copywriter before, and that’s completely okay. I’ll lead you through every step of the process with clear guidance and support so you never feel lost or overwhelmed. My goal is to make collaborating easy and efficient, delivering great results while respecting your time and expertise.

1. Activate Project

We start with a brief phone or email conversation to understand your requirements. You’ll sign a Proposal and Quote, and make a 50% first payment to activate the project.

2. Briefing

To get the details and tone exactly right, you'll be asked to complete a briefing form with questions about your business. We'll then follow up with a video call to go through it and clarify anything that's needed.

3. Copy and Design

This is the fun stage where we see everything come together. I’ll conduct any necessary research and craft the first draft of your copy. You’ll receive the draft with an explanatory video and can use Track Changes or another method to provide feedback. Two free rounds of revisions are included in your package. If your project includes a design element, this will commence immediately after the copy is approved.

4. Finalise Project

Once the copy and design is completed, you are sent an End of Project Sign Off and Review Form. By returning this signed form and paying the final invoice, copyright in the work transfers to you, and you're able to use it for its intended purpose.
